Through education, communication, and public activity, the Washington Osteoporosis Coalition aims to prevent osteoporosis and reduce the number of broken bones and medical problems caused by the disease

 

The Washington Osteoporosis Coalition (WOC) is part of the private non-profit Northwest Arthritis and Osteoporosis Institute.  Committees of WOC address professional education, public and consumer awareness, and legislation.
